Russian Doll Strain, (a.k.a. Muñeka Rusa), has its origins in the Kuban region of southern Russia. Its genetic profile incorporates the Kuban Sativa with Northern Lights and AK47 to produce a strain that is 70% cannabis sativa. The resulting plant is very easy to grow with high resistance to various diseases that can attack cannabis. In vegetative growth, it develops a very thick and strong central stem. The large, deep green leaves are suggestive of an indica but its sativa genetics give rise to a longer flowering period and a very sativa-like effect which tends towards the cerebral. Its buds are quite dense and compact although voluminous at the same time. The effect has a long duration and is finely balanced between the physical and cerebral with a pronounced psychoactive effect. It has a particularly woody flavour with some spice.
